The Harvard Undergraduate Science Olympiad is a student-run academic competition organized by Harvard undergraduates, often alongside leading STEM educators and mentors. It tests students through challenging interdisciplinary assessments spanning Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science.
HUSO aims to promote accessible STEM education while encouraging critical thinking, creativity, analytical reasoning, and scientific curiosity — pushing students beyond memorization into real scientific application.
